  1981年オランダ生まれ。東京藝術大学及び同大学院修了。オランダ･ハーグ王立音楽院修了。第18回齋藤秀雄メモリアル基金賞、第18回ホテルオークラ音楽賞受賞。2018年9月よりバッハ・コレギウム・ジャパン首席指揮者に就任。2020年4月1日からは、読売日本交響楽団の指揮者/クリエイティヴ・パートナーに就任。音楽監督を務めるアンサンブル･ ジェネシスでは、オリジナル楽器でバロックから現代音楽まで意欲的なプログラムを展開する。指揮者としてオーケストラ・アンサンブル金沢、NHK 交響楽団、九州交響楽団、仙台フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、東京交響楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、広島交響楽団、読売日本交響楽団等と共演。2017年11月には、モンテヴェルディ生誕450周年を記念し、歌劇「ポッペアの戴冠」を国際的で魅力に富む歌手陣で上演。高い芸術性と優れたキャスティングを生かした躍動感を伴った上演はバロック・オペラの新機軸として高い評価を得た。作曲家としても数々の委嘱を受けると同時に、J.S.バッハ BWV190喪失楽章の復元や（Carus）、モーツァルト『レクイエム』の補筆･校訂が（Schott Music）、高い評価を得ている。NHK-FMの「古楽の楽しみ」に解説者としてレギュラー出演。チェンバロ･ソロのCD「rencontre」は各紙で絶賛されている。2019年8月、ハルモニア・ムンディよりヴィオラのアントワン・タメスティとの新譜「J.S.バッハ：ヴィオラ［・ダ・ガンバ］とチェンバロのためのソナタ集」をリリース。調布国際音楽祭エグゼクティブ･プロデューサー、舞台演出、企画プロデュース、作曲とその活動に垣根はなく各方面から大きな期待が寄せられている。

  Born in the Netherlands in 1981, Masato Suzuki earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Tokyo University of the Arts, and completed courses at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. He was awarded the 18th Hideo Saito Memorial Fund Award and the 18th Hotel Okura Music Award. Since September 2018, Suzuki has been Principal Conductor of the Bach Collegium Japan (BCJ). In April 2020, he became Conductor and Creative Partner of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. As Music Director of Ensemble Genesis, he has carried out an ambitious program ranging from Baroque music performed on original instruments, to contemporary music. Suzuki has conducted many orchestras and ensembles, including Ensemble Kanazawa, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra　and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. In 2017 and 2020, he produced and presented "Masato Suzuki Produces the BCJ Opera Series." His productions of Monteverdi's L'Incoronazione di Poppea (2017) and Händel's Rinaldo (2020) earned a great deal of attention and acclaim for their innovative interpretations of Baroque opera. As a composer, Masato Suzuki receives many commissions, and has earned high praise for his reconstruction of lost movements of J.S. Bach's Cantata BWV190 (Carus) and his completion and revision of Mozart's Requiem (Schott Music). He is also a noted figure in the media, appearing regularly on the NHK-FM radio program "The Pleasure of Early Music," and as a guest on TV Asahi's "Untitled Concert." In 2019, Suzuki released a new CD with violist Antoine Tamestit on Harmonia Mundi. Suzuki's numerous and wide-ranging activities—including stage direction, planning and production, composition, and his work as Executive Producer of the Chofu International Music Festival—are always highly anticipated. Masato Suzuki is a visiting professor at Kyushu University.

  NARITA Tatsuki,
  Violin

  1992年生まれ。札幌で3歳よりヴァイオリンを始める。2010年ロームミュージックファンデーション奨学生に選ばれる。ロン＝ティボー国際コンクール(2010)、エリザベート王妃国際音楽コンクール(2012)、仙台国際音楽コンクール(2013)でそれぞれ第2位受賞。これまでに、ペトル・アルトリヒテル、オーギュスタン・デュメイ、ピエタリ・インキネンなど著名指揮者および国内外のオーケストラと多数共演している。現代の作曲家とのコラボレーションも積極的に行っており、特に酒井健治とは関係が深く、ヴァイオリンとピアノのためのCHASMを委嘱したほか、サントリー芸術財団サマーフェスティバルで成田が演奏した酒井健治作曲のヴァイオリン協奏曲“G線上で”は芥川作曲賞を受賞した。2017年11月には一柳慧作曲のヴァイオリンとチェロのための二重協奏曲を世界初演(チェロ：堤剛)。これまでに、澤田まさ子、市川映子、藤原浜雄、ジャン＝ジャック・カントロフ、スヴェトリン・ルセフ、フローリン・シゲティ、田中綾子の各氏に師事。リリースしたCDは「成田達輝デビュー！サン＝サーンス、フランク、フォーレ、パガニーニ」(ピアノ：テオ・フシュヌレ)。海外での演奏活動も積極的に行っており、2018年8月と2019年2月には韓国平昌で行われた音楽祭に参加し、ソン・ヨルム、スヴェトリン・ルセフらと共演。2018年にはミンスクで行われたユーリ・バシュメット音楽祭にも参加している。使用楽器は、アントニオ・ストラディヴァリ黄金期の“Tartini” 1711年製。(宗次コレクションより貸与)。

  Tatsuki Narita was born in 1992. He began his violin studies in Sapporo at the age of three. In 2010, Narita was selected as a scholarship student of the Rohm Music Foundation.
  In 2010, he won 2nd Prize in the Concours International Marguerite-Long-Jacques-Thibaud. In 2012, he won 2nd Prize in the Concours Reine Elisabeth en Belgique, and in 2013 he was awarded 2nd Prize in the Sendai International Music Competition.
  Tatsuki Narita has performed with many orchestras and conductors, including Petr Altrichter, Augustin Dumay, and Pietari Inkinen.
  Narita collaborates frequently with contemporary classical composers. He commissioned the work "CHASM for Violin and Piano" from the contemporary classical composer Kenji Sakai; and at the Suntory Foundation for Arts Summer Festival he performed Sakai's violin concerto "On a G String," which earned the Akutagawa Award for Composition.
  In November 2017, Narita gave the world premiere of Toshi Ichiyanagi's composition "Double Concerto for Violin and Cello and Orchestra" (with Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi on cello).
  Tatsuki Narita has studied with Masako Sawada, Eiko Ichikawa, Hamao Fujiwara, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Svetlin Roussev, Florin Szigeti, and Ayako Tanaka.
  His CD releases include Tatsuki Narita Debut – Saint-Saens, Franck, Faure, Paganini (Pf: Théo Fouchenneret).
  In August 2018, Narita performed with Yeol-Eum Son, Svetlin Roussev and others at the 15th PyeongChang Music Festival & School held in Korea. He also appeared at Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival in Minsk.
  Tatsuki Narita plays the 1711 "Tartini" from the golden age of Stradivarius, on loan from the Munetsugu Collection.

  1911年創立の日本で最も長い歴史をもつオーケストラ。メンバー約160名、シンフォニーオーケストラと劇場オーケストラの両機能を併せもつ。名誉音楽監督にチョン・ミョンフン、首席指揮者アンドレア・バッティストーニ、特別客演指揮者にミハイル・プレトニョフを擁する。

  In 2011, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated its 100th anniversary as Japan’s first symphony orchestra. With about 160 musicians, TPO performs both symphonies and operas regularly. TPO is proud to have appointed Maestro Myung-Whun Chung, who has been conducting TPO since 2001, as Honorary Music Director, Maestro Andrea Battistoni as Chief Conductor and Maestro Mikhail Pletnev as Special Guest Conductor.
